Freight Forwarding
Air Freight
One of the important lines is airfreight forwarding with
specific expertise in consolidation. The airfreight division of
Everest Group handles both inbound and outbound cargo. For the
efficient air freight functioning, Everest Group has set an
operation office at Sinamangal, Kathmandu (approximately 300
meter distance from cargo complex building of Tribhuvan
International Airport). Everest is the stockiest of the numbers
of both online and offline international airlines in Nepal.
Ocean Freight
Nepal being a land locked country, handling ocean freight
consignment to and from Nepal is a challenging one and requires
lots expertise. Since its inception Everest specializes in Ocean
Freight forwarding. Everest has set up two custom offices at
Birgunj and Biratnagar (important cities in context to trade
with India and abroad countries) in line to connect with nearest
port in India i.e. Kolkota and Haldia. Everest has strategic
partner in Kolkata to provide excellent service. Everest
utilizes both major shipping lines and NVOCC for import and
export movements by full container loads (FCL) or less than
container loads (LCL) to major markets around the world.
Travels & Tours
In the early 1964, Everest Group established Everest Travel Service P. Ltd. (ETS). In 1965 Government established the Tourism Department to develop the tourism business in the Kingdom of Nepal and accordingly ETS registered in Tourism Department as a Travel Agent in 15th June, 1965. Everest Travel was the first travel agency in Nepal and it has huge contribution to develop and promote Royal Nepal Airlines Corporation (Nepal Flag Carrier) passengers and cargo business for domestic and international.
ETS is the pioneer to operate the daily conducted tours within the Kathmandu valley and Chinese border (Kodari Rajmarga) Dhulikhel, Nagarkot, Kakani, Daman and to Pokhara etc.
ETS offers different international package tours according to the groups need.
